ABOUT
Gunderson Pool Plastering, started in 1984, is a family owned and operated business. It became incorporated in 1992 and has plastered over 4900 pools to date.
Licensed and insured, we provide service to Metro Atlanta, North and Central Georgia as well as Eastern Alabama.
As members of the National Plaster’s Council, Glenn M. Gunderson, Founder of Gunderson Pool Plastering, served as a Board Member on the Council for 10 years, as well as the The Technical Advisory Committee.
We offer a variety of different finishes for residential and commercial pools. From traditional white plaster, pigmented plaster, blue color coated quartz added to white plaster, exposed quartz aggregate plaster and exposed mini pebble aggregate finishes.
Some of our projects include The Governors Mansion, FDR Rehabilitation Center, the NIKE display pools at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics as well as several YMCA pools, college and high schools pools, Oglethorpe University and Woodward High School to name a few.

Founder/Senior Advisor/Manager/ Glenn M. Gunderson started plastering for the largest pool plastering company in the nation in 1963. He was soon promoted to foreman in 1964. In 1967 he moved to Fresno to run and manage 2 crews there. In 1969 he moved to Detroit Michigan to start a crew and office there.
After 2 years he moved to Philadelphia to manage 5 plaster crews there. In 1975 Glenn and his family of seven, moved to Georgia starting his own plastering company. In 1984 Gunderson Pool Plastering was formed, incorporating in 1992. Glenn has over 40 years, hands on experience, in the pool plastering industry, making him one of the most respected and knowledgeable plasterers in the country. He served as a board member of the National Plasterers Council for approximately 10 years, and on the Technical Advisory Committee. He retired in 2008.
We have unprecedented experience with our two foreman having 25+ years with Gunderson Pool Plastering, and other crewmen have over 17+ years with our company.
